Our History:

Bob and Deb now operate the Mobil Hicksville gas station and car service with the help of their kids. Before them, their parents were working together to make a go of their business. Vic and Millie were providing for their family and soon after Vic started working at the Mobil station in 1964, he had an opportunity to operate the place. The year was 1967 and times were not easy. As the years went by, Bob started to work for his dad in the repair shop and Deb help at the counter.

Vic's custom Dodge van could always be seen parked out side and this van was the real deal. This wasn't one of those popular Mini Vans that came along in the mid 1980s. The hours were always long and their family worked together to make a go of things. Eventually the time came for Vic and Millie to pass the business on to their kids. Times never really get easy and the work is still hard, but this is about working hard together as a family and making ends meet. Some day in the future, Bob and Deb will probably turn the business over to their kids and the traditions started by Vic and Millie will continue.

So stop by and say hello, visit the Mini Mart to get some fresh hot coffee, a danish, a power drink, or a Lotto ticket. When you leave, a smile or hand shake will be shared with you.
